St. Ursula: over the life of this world beyond hope-

Today the Church celebrates the commemoration of St. Ursula and her companion. This memory goes back to an old inscription in a Cologne church, according to the place where the church was built, several young women were martyred.

Anyway the historical conditions were exactly, we look at the St. Ursula and her companions to women who have given up the love for Christ's sake, and given away everything, even the most cherished thing a man has, his own life.

Both the virginity, as well as the martyrdom can only be accepted on standby, if someone has a life after this life expected - and if any of that other life infinitely more hope, may be more than what the earthly life of a human.

Sure, not everyone is called to celibacy, or any, for Christ's sake and certainly not everyone is called to martyrdom. A question was raised on basically every man: What I expect and hope of eternal life? And I'm willing to let me by God to give it everything? Much of what we consider to be important in this life, will become relative to such issues in a healthy way.
