Who would have dared to think of a few decades ago, that the Guardian Angel Faith in the early 21st Century witnessed a boom? The performances, however, what we meant by an angel to go, far apart, especially because the New Age has taken possession of the subject and support and mentor. "Discernment of spirits" does not, therefore, in the truest sense of the word. What the Church teaches about the (protective) angel? A concise and sober compilation by the "Catechism" (CCC 328-336):

- The existence of angels is through the Scriptures and the Church tradition testifies abundantly. It is a truth of faith.

- Angels are spiritual and incorporeal beings, but of course, created by God. Its fundamental determination after they are servants and messengers of God.

- all visible creatures are dominated by the angels as spiritual creatures to perfection. As spiritual beings, the angel mind and will.

- Christ is the center of Angel world, both because the angels as all other creatures are created "through him and for him" (Col 1:16), partly because they are messengers of his saving plan. The earthly life of Christ according to the biblical witness is accompanied by the worship and ministry of the angels.

- Until Christ comes again, the angels, mysterious and powerful helper in the life of the Church as the Church is united with them in the liturgy to the worship of God.

- The angels surround the lives of the people protecting and intercession of his beginning to the death.
